Question by Dan: Will my degree be worth something in the USA if I get it in Cyprus?
Im thinking of studying architecture in the European University of Lefke in Cyprus, I just want to know if It’ll be of value in the USA.
What about if I study in the Welsh School of Architecture?
Thanks!

Yes, it should be of value, but arcitecual styles and practices may be different from Europe to the U.S. That’s the only problem I could see.

You could email or phone a architecture firm in the U.S. and ask them to find out for sure. I’m sure they would be willing to take a few minutes to help with your questions.

Turkish style belly dancing generally tends to be more flamboyant and energetic than, for instance, Classical Egyptian, which is very subtle. Turkish belly dancing also has a lot of Greek and Rom influences, as well as different drum beats. As a personal observation, I’ve noticed that Turkish belly dancers also tend to wear high-heeled shoes and play the zills more than other styles among belly dancers. Here are a couple of articles about Turkish style belly dancing, which I’d rather offer you than trying to simply paraphrase what they say here:

As for some great Turkish belly dancers, here are a few of my favorites!

Nejla Ates – Classic Turkish Belly Dancing from Son of Sinbad (1955)

Sadie – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9FzDXvYAKEA
(Her style has Turkish influences, as indicated in her bio on her website)
